Man and a Woman; Marriage Law

Sunday, August 10th, 2008

If you are against gay marriage you may find yourself in a debate with a homosexual, who will insist that their sexual preference is completely normal. Of course when it comes to male homosexuality, there is nothing physiologically normal about what they are doing behind those close doors. But if you say anything, you are branded a homophobic. I was called a homophobic for pointing out that the gay fringe too often resorts to name calling when someone does not agree with them.

It is not homophobia; it is learned experience. Still rather than hate, I understand, but it seems to me that if the Gay and Lesbian Community will get on the same page, mentor some of these younger aggressive guys some of which are so completely out of control, that your group may indeed get your way sooner than later. Now realize this is just watching trends and flows and behavioral patterns, persnicketiness, vindictive and malicious behavior.

Personally it just does not affect me, but you can see by the online internet forum topic threads on this subject that it sure makes people’s blood boil doesn’t it; on both sides of the gay marriage issue. And realize although personally I over look many things, it is obvious human nature that those who are disrespected want revenge. And right now it doesn’t matter who started it, because this has the making of a full-scale debate over religious beliefs and civil rights. The young gay males are combative and vindictive from being disrespected and the verbal attacks back are indeed causing the Christian Right the same level of combativeness.

Adwords, Adsense, SEO – Common Denominator, Keywords

Friday, August 8th, 2008

If you have just put up a website, you probably all ready have heard words like: keywords, Google Adwords, Google Adsense, SEO. Adwords, Adsense, SEO have one thing in common – Keywords. How important are keywords? Very Important.

Google Adwords

Adwords, be it through Google, Miva, or any pay-per-click search engines, you need keywords. With Adwords, you create a three-line ad – 25 word title, with two 35 word lines of ad copy – then you create your keywords. To get the hits, you have to brainstorm for different keywords, that are different but relevant to your target audience. Sound easy? It’s not. It takes time, patience, constant tweaking, and hoping that the product you are selling is not already saturated — to much competition, makes it a little more difficult for the novice to make a profit.

Google Adsense

Google Adsense is an advertising program created by Google, and which is beginning to be explored by other search engines, such as Yahoo and MSN – that allows you to put targeted ads on your website. If someone clicks on the ad, you earn a small amount of money. These ads are keyword driven and are relevant to your webpage or website.

Sounds simple? Well, not really. There is more too it than just putting an ad on your website and expecting someone to click on it. What’s involved? Let’s see – color, position, style, to name just a few.

SEO

Search engine optimization – this for me has been a time-consuming process – since I am still learning. SEO is keyword driven – the search engines pull the keywords from your web copy – not, to my surprise, from the meta keywords tag. Granted, I still use the meta keywords tag, but maybe in the near future, I will slowly eliminate the tag from my webpages…

The search engines do, however, pull information from Meta Description, Meta Title, and the content of your webpages. Thus, content does reign supreme.

Since content reigns supreme, each page should contain useful content and most importantly, your most relevant keywords that you want to emphasize. Secondly, it is best to try and base your keywords around a central theme. I have found that when the keywords diverts away from the main theme – that sends a red flag to search engines. So, if you want to look at your keywords and the density of the keywords on your webpage or webpages – You can get a quick rundown at: http://www.ranks.nl/tools/spider.html . It’s a free tool, and very helpful.

To conclude, keywords is one of the main ingredients that leads people to your website, product, service and/or ad. …AND, keywords based around your quality content will help with your positioning on your website.

Oh, what a word….GIRLFRIEND. You just wouldn’t believe in the Western World how many men just DO NOT have a girlfriend. You better believe it your author has a girlfriend. At the last count I counted over 1036. However, every day I meet new girlfriends and I break up with old ones. Although I have my top 10 beautiful girlfriends that compete for a little action from the king…Elvis Preston King. I simply DO NOT have time to go out with all the girls who want to date me. I do not do restaurants or movies. There simply isn’t enough time and I cannot go out in public with a girl or I would be linched by the other 999 girls if they saw me out and about with another girl! I do go to my Playboy Mansion bachelor pad and make mad passionate love to my girlfriends!

I feel sorry for those men that are always dreaming about my FUTURE GIRLFRIEND. I also feel sorry for those guys who are being led around by the nose by ONLY ONE GIRLFRIEND. Finding The Right Hydration Pack For Kids Can Keep Your Little Tykes Properly Hydrated All Summer

Tuesday, August 5th, 2008

Each year when summer quickly approaches, many families with children plan to take advantage of the 2006 summer break. However, it’s mind boggling how many people do not prepare fully for the summer’s heat, and the necessary steps of preventing your child from becoming seriously dehydrated.

Children are more often than not becoming victims of dehydration, and it has nothing to do with ignorance. It comes down to time, and it’s very hard to keep an eye on your child 24/7, so measures in getting a hydration pack for kids is one way to ensure your child is getting all the necessary liquids they need while playing out in the hot weather.

Keeping your kids fully hydrated is not only a summer issue, but it seems to be more overlooked during this time of season. Everyone is more involved in their activities, and the children tend to be more active with the days being longer, plus with the variety of fun summer events taking place, they’re too excited to be thinking about drinking water.

Kids will be kids, and they just want to take full advantage of their playing time, so if there’s no water that can easily be accessible to them, they may not stop for water until it’s too late. By educating your children of the importance of staying hydrated during physical activity, the better chance they will make sure they break frequently for their necessary fluids, and drink more often.

Providing A Convenient Source Of Fluids Is Extremely Important For Your Child’s Health

It’s one thing to educate your children about getting dehydrated, but it’s also very important to provide them a convenient source of water to make sure they’re in constant contact with water. This can be hard when kids go camping, or on day hikes that are not professionally supervised, and sometimes giving them bottled water may not be sufficient enough.

Most children and many adults don’t understand the exact amount of water that needs to be consumed in order to stay hydrated properly. It’s a fact that many individuals feel that you should only drink when you’re thirsty, and that’s a dangerous misconception, because when you become extremely thirsty, this could be the beginning sign of dehydration!

You don’t want to take any chances on miscalculating the required amount of water needed, and sometimes it’s not easy considering your kids take part in many types of activities that may not require them to consume a lot of fluids during the day.

Hydration packs for children are a convenient way to help your kids remember to drink plenty of water, and they’re extremely functional as well. Kids these days don’t leave home without their backpacks, because they want to make sure they have all their gadgets from MP3 players to beach gear. A backpack with a hydration system included can be their lifeline to making sure they always have liquids whenever they need it most.

Hydration Packs Must Not Only Be Functional, But Lightweight and Comfortable!

Purchasing your kids a hydration backpack that is too large or heavy will not do your child any good, and in many cases could injure them because of over packing. Also getting a cheaper model may cause problems as well, because how they wear the pack can make a big difference whether your kids will continue to use the pack.

This is why many of the specially designed hydration packs not only provide a balanced hydration system, but they are specifically designed for kids, based on their size, capacity of fluids required, comfort, and ergonomic design for proper fitting.

When shopping for your child, and you’d like more information, you can go online and type in kids hydration systems, or kids hydration backpacks, and you will find many sources that will assist you in finding the proper pack that will work best.

It’s Always Good To Know What Your Kids Need For Their Level Of Outdoor Activities

Ask your children what they like best in a backpack, and also make sure you understand the level of activities they participate in during the summer. If they run frequently, a backpack may not be the best option, and you may have to consider a running hydration waistpack system. These hydrating systems are more compact, lighter in weight, and they will not disrupt your child’s running.

Many additional features to also consider when searching for hydration systems is the storage design, do they have sternum straps, ventilated waistbelts for stability and comfort? Do they provide room for additional water bladders to accommodate additional hours outside, and do the tubes have special protection from bacteria growth?

Other features to look out for which are less for function yet very important to the kids, are the colors, and style. You may overlook this when purchasing a hydration pack, and when you finally find the perfect one for your children, the last thing you want to find out is that they don’t like the look of the pack. If they do not like the pack you bought them, they will not use it, and that would defeat the whole purpose and beneficial function of the hydration backpack!

Diamond Engagement Rings: Making Your Selection

Friday, August 1st, 2008

When you’ve found the one you want to spend the rest of your life with, selecting an engagement ring can seem a daunting, yet necessary, task. Diamonds are a classic and traditional choice for such rings. However, with numerous color, size and appearance options available, how does a hopeful groom select the perfect diamond engagement ring for his bride-to-be?

Style

Men should be conscious of his significant other’s taste and lifestyle when choosing an engagement ring. Is she formal or casual? Does she prefer large accessories or dainty pieces? Is she active or sedentary? Does she own mostly gold or silver-colored jewelry? All of these factors should be evaluated before selecting an engagement ring.

An engagement ring should match the personality of its owner. A woman who throws on jeans and a t-shirt every day may want an attractive yet simple ring to go with her easy lifestyle, whereas a formal dresser would likely prefer a more dramatic ring with a larger diamond. Active brides-to-be may value comfort over a cumbersome stone that may be easily damaged. A woman who wears mostly silver jewelry might prefer a platinum or white gold setting to coordinate with her existing accessories.

Diamond Rating System

In considering the purchase of a diamond engagement ring, men should be familiar with the “Four C’s” of diamond grading: Caret (weight of the diamond), Clarity (presence of flaws), Color (the slight tint of the diamond) and Cut (exact cut within the shape of the diamond). The rating of the diamond can raise or lower the ring’s overall cost.

Metals

The type of metal used in the band can also significantly affect the appearance and price of the ring. Platinum rings are currently a popular selection due to their strength, beauty and light color. Because platinum is over 90 percent pure, it is hypoallergenic for most people. Platinum is the most expensive metal. Gold is a considerably less expensive metal for wedding rings. While yellow gold is a traditional choice that compliments many settings, white gold is an option for those who want the light color without the sticker shock.

Customization

Men may wish to consider a customized diamond engagement ring for their intended. A custom ring serves as a personalized representation of the couple’s love for each other. A man does not have to be a designer to create a unique ring – many jewelers can help translate his rough ideas into a beautiful reality.

5 Ways To Suddenly Be In A Class By Yourself!

Friday, August 1st, 2008

It’s really so easy to distinguish yourself, that it’s amazing.

Yet few people ever happen upon these principles of getting ahead.

Let’s take a student, a junior in high school, as an example. I’ve been trying to help him to improve his grades, and over the course of the last few weeks, here are some of the pointers I’ve suggested, which can be generalized to anything:

(1) Arrive early. If you’re the first person to arrive in class, the teacher will notice and infer that you like her, you’re interested in succeeding, and you like the topic. In fact, you’ll benefit disproportionately by making this small, but steady gesture, day in and out.

(2) Leave late. Again, you’ll distinguish yourself by not rushing off to something more important. If you linger, and by this I mean for no more than 30 seconds longer than anyone else, you’ll be noticed.

(3) Smile at the reward source. If you’re dealing with a teacher, a coach, an administrator, or the groundskeepers, practice your smiling. They’ll feel you like them, they’ll be flattered, and when you need something, they’ll be there for you.

(4) Dress the part. If you are college bound, look collegiate, from the teacher’s viewpoint, not like some soon to be, dropout.

(5) Teach yourself. Stop whining and blaming others. If it takes a half hour or an hour to cover a single page of math or chemistry, resolve to dedicate as much time as it takes. The task is still finite, and you can put it behind you, providing you do whatever it takes to get it done.

These five practices can take you far toward achieving success anywhere, in anything.

Lesson over!
